Photos from Arles

The Amphitheatre where they still hold bull fights.
The stage of the Roman Theatre where events are held in the summer.
Wide view of the Theatre where you need to take a very thick cushion to sit on.
This shows how some parts of Constantine's Baths were used as the partial walls for new buildings prior to 19th C.
Only about one third of the huge baths remained to be restored. There was more than this but the partions for different areas of bathing make an overall view impossible.
A view of one of tHe huge galleries of foundation for the Roman Forum which exist intact under the current Town Hall and Town Square.
